Popi Act being misused
I would like to know and get a reply please from Hello Peter on this matter if ots possible. With Popi Act. A persons info is not allowed to be shared without their consent. Straight forward. So how come CSS solutions and other debt harvesting companies has peoples info that was sold to them?. And in my case when there is arrangements with Foshini why do it? This question will be vital as we not anymore dealing with same laws as in past. A person information is only for the company it was given and not for any other that bought their debtors books over.And I dont think Im misunderstanding the Popi Act. I think Im speaking on behalf of many and would like to know the feedback backed by the relevant legal proof if I am wrong.
