Please help

I have an account that is blocking my credit score,i had made arrangements to pay 150 every month. I did but the account was not going down,so I decided to go to the store to get my statement cause i have decided to pay it off.the balance from the store was payable but to my surprise it was different cause it had involved lawyers please help
