Paying more than I should!

I am writing this with great concern! I am very dissatisfied, and will be closing my account. I advise everyone who has a TFG account to be on the look out because you might be paying more than you should. I bought a dress on 19 Feb and asked the teller guy to check how much credit there is on my card to use “to pay for the dress” he said I can not pay the full amount with my card because the availability is only “R205”. He told me that I can use the credit available on the card and then I need to pay in the outstanding balance.

Without knowing when he checked the availability on my card it swiped the full amount “as payed with the account card” but he did not notice it went through. So he thought the card only swiped R205 when really it took R605 and then I also paid R399 wich was the outstanding balance like he thought.

I am very unhappy, when I phoned the call centre to see why my amount balance keeps staying so high the lady told me that my last purchase was at Foschini and it was R605 and that is how I realized there was a mistake because I payed in and did not buy the dress on my account. (The full amount) wich means I payed in the end R1005 for a dress that was R605.

I need this settled and will be closing my account and will tell everyone about my experience because how do I know this was the only time this happened and how will my loved ones know that this won’t happen to them. I have also asked multiple times for statements and they never send me one wich concerns me even more! What are you hiding Tfg and why does the amount just stay the same!?

R399 does not sound like a lot but if I keep paying my acount very month that R399 means something and makes a difference especially with the economy that is so bad these days. I won’t stop here and will address the matter until I get my money back and my acount is checked and made sure that I am not fooled somewhere else aswell.
