Oxford Couches - Sub Standard Quality and not durable

<p>In November 2012, I bought a corner Oxford Couch from @Home Livingspace in Parkview Pretoria, in less than a year, the couch already had issues in that the springs made a noise when you sat on it. I requested that it be repaired and it was collected and apparently repaired but a week later, the squicky noise came back.</p> <p> </p> <p>In 2015, the springs failed completely on the one side and in 2016, the chaise springs also broke, now i cannot sit on one side of it as the springs hurt and the chaise is also uncomfortable as it dips in the middle - so i can only sit at the far end of the couch.</p> <p> </p> <p>Furthermore, the cushions are worn so much that it can hardly be called normal "wear and tear".</p> <p> </p> <p>I raised this with @home's quailty department but was advised to repair it at my own cost as it is out of the warranty period. The repair costs are now going to cost more than what i paid for the couch in 2012 (R10 000) and it is only 4 years old!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>If you are considering buying a couch, I do not recommend that you buy one from @home, rather spend a little more for quality, unless of course you want it to last only 2 years :)</p>
