Misleading

On the 19th of December 2025, I purchased a pair of shoes from G-Star RAW East Rand Mall for R2689. In the same transaction, I also paid R410 towards my monthly account. I made it absolutely clear to the cashier at the till that I was buying the shoes cash and paying the account separately. The shoes turned out to be poor quality and started tearing apart far too soon — completely unacceptable for a brand like G-Star RAW. When I returned to the store today to request a refund for these defective shoes, I was told that the purchase was put through on my account, which was not the agreement at the time of purchase. I keep my account updated every single month without fail, and yet the store refused to refund me in cash for these low-quality shoes. This is not only frustrating but also feels like I’ve been misled and treated unfairly. I demand my refund in cash, as agreed, and I expect TFG to take responsibility for selling me a defective product and for mishandling the transaction.
