Merchandise not up to standard, and bad service.

This is for American Swiss Sanlam Centre, Parow. I was bought a gift, a watch with bracelet for my birthday. This was bought by children who works and put themselves through school, so this was something very special with sentimental value for me. My birthday was end January. I wore it once a couple of weeks later. After that one day it did not work again. So i though maybe its just the battery it will work. My partner took it to American Swiss on the 28 May. We were told it would take up to 4-6 weeks to repair, as the battery was not the problem. After the 7 week of not receiving any feedback of collecting i phoned them. Again i was told it can take from 6-8 weeks to repair. On the 19th of July my partner went to go fetch it, but it was still not fixed and it was left at the shop. i phoned them twice to ask when it will be repaired, as by now i was founding no joy in this matter. My partner went there numerous times to collect and was told its still not fixed. I contacted the person who bought it and told her to take her Invoices with, as i do not want the watch anymore, as it was now the end of August. She went to the shop on the 31st of August at 4pm, where they told her that the watch was collected on the 19th of July. After phone calls made to the shop to ask them when it was collected, the lady said she will check at the back. Eventually it was found. So this was a very unpleasant experience for me, numerous phone calls, numerous visits to the shop. For what, for a watch that is still broken. I eventually opted in for a chain and bracelet, as i said i did not want that watch anymore. Your slogan says" How can you create memories". This is a memory that i will not forget. Nor will i ever make a purchase at your store. Extremely bad service, giving us the run around for a couple of months, wasting our time to go to the store, and to top it off, saying/arguing that the item was collected, when in fact it was not.
