Job interview

I received a phone call on the 26th of July 2023 for an interview for a sales assistant position I app**** for. And I was invited for an interview the following day which was yesterday morning on the 27th of July 2023 at 11h15am.

Upon my arrival I met a lady there and I introduced myself and my reasons for being there. She looked at me as if I was lost or I have come to the wrong place for an interview. And even said that maybe I’ve mistaken or misheard that maybe my interview is at sterns. She than asked my name and for my CV, which I kindly gave her, she proceeded to go to the back to check if I was scheduled for an interview.

She returned back and she had a copy of my CV and showed it to me and added that yes I was scheduled for an interview but I didn’t pick so I was no longer short listed and that I had to leave. She didn’t bother to maybe call and check with someone and didn’t show an remorse.

I felt that she wasn’t professional on how she handled this situation. She could have at least given me a chance to do the interview even if I wasn’t going to get the job. But to just turn me down and look at me as if I lost and ****d smiled with me. The way she looked down on me and downgraded me doesn’t show good character traits.

I’m in disbelief on how the TFG employee treated an individual that approached her with kindness
