Horrible Service

I have had 2 horrible instances with TFG, 2 stores at the Carnival Mall. The 1st incident was last year, possibly October where I paid R1000 towards my TFG account and I at the same time, I was taking 2 cell-phones. This happened at the Exact store in the Carnival Mall.

The sales consultant advise that he only processes the card and I don’t know what he did because the next thing I had to withdraw R1000 from the ATM as he has mistakenly punched in that I will be paying cash. Paid cash but I was not given my receipt on my hand, it was inserted in the plastic along with the phone receipts. Fast-forward a monthly later, I receive my statement and it is showing I only paid R800 instead of R1000. I complained to TFG however it was pointless because the receipt showed R800 instead of R1000 even though my bank statement shows that I withdrew R1000. I let it go.

The 2nd incident, there was a special at Sterns, again Carnival mall where I bought 3 watches. 2 Tempo watches and 1 Minx watch. The sales consultant did not advise that Tempo watches have a warrantee of 3years, sales consultant did hand me my receipt and also the Warranty stickers for the Tempo watches however did give me the Warranty sticker for the Minx watch. Now the tempo watches are faulty and if I want them fixed, I will have to pay a certain amount as I do not have proof of the date of purchase.

I cannot express enough how disappointed I am because of TFG service. They are employing ****** who robs us of our money. Staff that doesn’t do everything right and I have to take the fall for the lack of service as a customer. Their sales consultant does not even want to check their system under my card of the purchases that I have made (All 3 watches were purchased using the account), at this rate, I must also be ready that there is something that is going to happen with the 2 cell-phones I have purchased. To add salt to the wound, I paid all that I was owing on the account and hardly 5 days later account shows that I owe R22. So according to TFG, it is not enough that I was ****** R200, I have 2 watches make that 3 because I noticed today that the Minx watch doesn’t work also, that I cannot fix without paying and these watches still under warrantee. I would like everyone to be careful when dealing with any TFG store. When you play for something or buying something, ask them to give a paper receipt and not an electronic one (we do not normally check those immediately). Do not be in a rush to wrap-up and leave as I think that is the reason why they are so slow when they serve, by the time you finish, you are exhausted and you want to go home and you will not check your receipt and purchases. I would like to know from TFG, why now I am owing R22, the month is not even over and I am already, my total balance was R4835.67 and I paid R4835.67 on the 13th of October 2024.
