On the 24th of Aug 2019 I handed in my Fitbit Charge 3 for repairs (TotalSport Clearwater) as the HR monitor stopped working after a swim, it then started working again but wasn't reading my HR correctly...it had me at 180bpm for 340min non-stop without me even leaving my house. It then stopped working completely after a few days.
When I handed in my Fitbit photos were taken and there were a little dirt on my strap and my face had a small scratch in the right top corner. Joash (TotalSport Clearwater) told me it should be back within two weeks. I waited for the two weeks to past and still had no communication with the store. In week three I called the store to esquire and they haven't received the watch back yet. On the Friday the store phoned and said my watch is back and the tech report stated that there were nothing wrong with my watch.
I went to the store over the weekend to collect my watch, as they gave me the box my suspicion started, the box where thorn and my box looked like off the shelve when I handed it in...I thought to myself "I wish other people would respect customers property and handle it with care". Then when I took out the watch I immediately told my wife that this is not my watch, the strap was so dirty it was revolting and the face had no scratch.
I refused to take ownership of this watch as it was not mine. I followed up with the store last week (week 4) to find out if they heard anything back from Core Group, but they haven’t. I need feedback on when I can get my watch or a new replacement as it was Core Group who misplaced my watch.
