False Consulting

My grandmother was kind enough to buy me Samsung galaxy A31 at American Swiss Mokopane on 29 May. A week later I received a call from a guy who advised he is from TFG Fochine group to offer me insurance on my phone. Because I had planned to insure my phone I took up the offer. He stated the insurance covers physical damage, theft/loss and water liquid and it's R87 p/m. He took me through the process and everything and ultimately advised that I am covered. I was happy that I am covered and I need not to worry to look for insurance. Today my granny went to pay the account and I asked her to confirm at store if indeed I am covered. The lady at the store told my aunty that I am not covered and that I rejected the offer. I don't understand because I took up the insurance offer. Now I have been trying to call Fochine customer care and their line takes years to connect to consultants and when you finally connect the line cuts off and they don't even bother to call customer back!! I mean I should have insured my phone elsewhere but because I was under the impression that I am covered I rested assured!! Now my phone is not covered!!! The consultant name is Mohammed
