Disappeared payments

I need help to retrieve my R900.00 with foschini retail group, I have done IBT (payment) with foschini, instead of entering my account number as reference I entered my card number so foschini says they can't find the Money I should have used the account below FNB Cape Town Corporate Branch Branch Code: 204109 Cheque Account number : *** To deposit the money, instead I added as beneficiary using bank approved listed company foschini retail group. I have checked with the bank in which account did the payment go and it was confirmed, is within the same account but for bank to reverse the transaction I need to pay R620 which it was too much for me, I can't understand why it is so difficult for Foschini to retrieve the payment, it should be hanging into their account. Since incorrect reference used. But certainly, in their account, R900 is too much just to let it go. What hurt most is I have been labeled on credit score that I missed my monthly payments, whereas I paid. Please help. Kind regards. Caroline
