Deep Disappointment with Bash/TFG Service and Product Quality

I am deeply disappointed with the shocking decline in service and quality from Bash/TFG. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, but this year has been one negative experience after another — so much so that I’m seriously considering closing my account altogether.

In January 2025, I purchased a pair of Puma sneakers, and despite wearing them only occasionally, the leather has already started cracking. The quality is unacceptable for a product from such a reputable brand and that costs so much money.

The second issue occurred when I was R300 short on a payment due to financial constraints. Despite my consistent history of paying more than my required instalment every month, I was treated very poorly when I tried to make an arrangement to add the shortfall the following month. Instead of offering understanding or assistance, the response I received was rude and inflexible. They declined all options.

Then, when I ordered a Redbat cap for my husband, the item I received looked completely different from what was displayed online — a clear case of misleading product representation.

The final straw came when I ordered a pair of black Nike Air Force 1 sneakers in a ladies’ size 4 (junior size). To my disbelief, what was delivered was a white pair of Jordan sneakers in a kiddies’ size 12! costing much less then the item I ordered.

This level of carelessness and disregard for customers is simply unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and urge others to think very carefully before ordering from Bash or Sportscene.
