CHAOS AT TFG NEW ACCOUNTS DEPT. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE REIGNS AT TFG

They kept sending me sms saying I was pre aporoved for an account. Eventually at the beginning of August I decided to go for their offer. I completed the online application and mailed the relevant docs. On 8 Aug I contacted them because I hadnt heard from them. I was told the account was declined as they recieved no docs. I was given a no to contact after I insisted that I speak to a manager. Spoke to Ryan who confirmed that docs were recieved. Just to make sure I went to the store and resubmitted the docs. On 13 Aug I contacted them again and was told the account was declined as they recieved no docs. Once again I spoke to Ryan who confirmed that the docs were indeed recieved. I recieved an email confirming this. I was told that they had a backlog as they had so many applications. On the 21st Aug I recieved a sms stating that I had to submit the docs. I then spoke to Thando who said there was no note on my application that Ryan was supposed to make re my conversations with him. Nearly 45 minutes later Thando confirmed that the docs were in fact at the new accounts dept and that they had been waiting since 13 August for my bank to confirm my account. A week later I recieved a sms stating that the account was provisionally approved and I would be informed of where to pick up the card or whether they needed more documentation. Thats when comms ceased. I sent them a mail on 28 Aug re this and they responded that they referred the matter to the new accounts dept. I rep**** and was told I needed to contact them re my income. I rep**** again and now I have been told that my application has been escalated to a suoervisor. My god how long is this *********** service going to drag on. This is the craziest Company I ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If they are flooded with applications they should employ more staff. Lots of potential out there. The unemployment rate is high enough. I just wonder WHEN one day they are going to make up their minds re my application. I am getting fedup of their shunting me around. I am at the point of applying for an account somewhere else. NOT GONNA WAIT TILL THE END OF THE WORLD UNTILL TFG MAKES A DECISION....
