Cannot open account with TFG

My wife has been trying to open a TFG account for 2 weeks. Every day she gets an SMS asking for 1 months bank statement. Every day she sends it. She has called multiple times speaking to Mavis at customer care.

We have also called Mavis at customer care back 20 minutes after resending the docs to verify that the documentation required was received on ********** of which she confirmed. We then received an SMS confirming it was being processed. Today she receives another SMS asking for 1 months bank statement. What the actual !@$% is going on? I understand customer retention is challenging but refusing to take on new customers is a whole new level of stupid. Truworths & Coricraft sounds extremely attractive at this point.
