Bad service

I would like to firstly state I haven't not been exactly a on time payer and i recognize that, but I am so sick of the foschini group's attempt at supposed service. I firstly had been struggling to perform a sim swap, i was not told my account had to be up to date, until my second attempt at another branch, I would like to state that there is not a record of me agreeing to continue with one2one till today.

My complain comes after the sim swap, after i had paid a substantial amount, I did not anticipate to receive any credit, after i made a small purchase, later that same week im bombarded with sms's from TFG about an arreas, literally in the same month of payment, how is that possible.

Im so sick of this sms's and how my account ended up in collections that quick is an insult and still no one has come to me with an update and thats just pathetic

Good day Elphus

We confirm that when your Account goes into arrears, you will be charged debt collection fees for the period that your account remains in arrears, including charges for mail, electronic communication and telephone calls made to you to collect amounts due to us.
This is charged in accordance to the Debt Collectors Act (DCA) for the duration that the account is in arrears.
Our records show that your account has been in arrears since 12th October 2018, therefore the collection sms was not sent because you made a purchase but because the account remains in arrears.

Best regards,

Good day Elphus

On the day of your payment the system recognized that you paid the arrears, thus releasing credit to become available.

Although you paid the arrear amount, there was still an amount due by the 1st of February 2019.

We confirm that we have a system generated sms that is sent to all our customers which acts as a reminder to pay and to prevent further collection charges from being charged.
Kind RegardsThe Customer Support Team
