Bad customer care

On 18 September 2022 at about 14h20 I went to Exact Galleria to purchase a white skinny jeans sku ***1. This item was on sale for R99 and the original price was R219.99. The person assisting me was Mandisa who then told me that the item is R219.99 I then informed her that it was on sale and she checked the item again and said its R189 or something I informed her that its R99 I even have the sku confirming its the same item. She then went to the back of the store and I assumed to confirm the price and she came back and insisted I pay R189 .I tried explaining that she must rather scan the item and she said her system is offline and she's doing manual so the tag says R189. She also didn't want confirm with someone else or head office/different store etc. I noticed that she was going to issue a manual receipt instead of computer generated, I then told her that I'll rather not buy. I feel like she should have checked either with head office or any place that was gonna be able to scan the item considering the fact that I had earlier called to set the item aside and I was not told that they offline etc.
