Awful experience on online store... Avoid the headache and shop elsewhere

So I tried ordering 2 pairs of shoes from sportscene online, one of which was for my sisters birthday gift.. I placed the order, paid and everything was fine until I got an email saying that they could not source stock of the items and both pairs of shoes were cancelled (note that at the time of my order, both showed as in stock and at the time I received this email, one pair showed as in stock and the other showed 5 in stock on their website) so the next day I called tfg customer support, they explained that the item was over sold and people were given refunds... I pointedd out that at the time of the call, both shoes showed as in stock and the representatives response was that new stock just came in, so I asked that they don't process the refund and rather give me the shoes from the new stock and I was told that it's an automated system and that I should rather place the order again, which I did, even though it would have came after my sisters birthday, I told her what I bought for her and that shipping was delayed.. When I placed the order, both pairs showed as in stock... Now, I got another email from them saying the same thing, that both shoes are out of stock, yet as I type this right now, their website still shows one of the pairs of shoes as in stock.. I buy a lot of clothes, shoes, colognes etc and i buy quite regularly (I have a whole wardrobe just for my colognes).. This was my first time shopping here but highly disappointed, especially after seeing your range (which I now believe none of which even exists at your stores) Sportscene and TFG as a whole has just lost a very valuable customer
