Application for new account declined and now solid feedback as to why

Please can you help me with my account application. It was declined but I have a good credit score and affordability. I spoke to a consultant and she could not advise on any of the questions I asked her nor tell me why the application was declined. She just told me to check my credit report of which I did and everything is in order. I asked to speak to someone who could advise what is wrong on the report and how I could bypass the 3 month waiting period incase there was incorrect information or an error and she basically said she can’t assist and I must just try in 3 months. It doesn’t make sense for my application to be declined.
