APPALLING SERVICE.
I am livid and literally shaking as I am writing this review. I have an exact account with TFG and On the 13th of October 2020 I received an sms notifying me that my account is in arrears and needs to be paid as soon as possible. I immediately called their collections department on the same day and was told that the payment I made on the 28th instore at the Fix in Claremont was was received (of course it was, I personally walked in the store and made payment) however the consultant did not allocate payment correctly and I was immediately transferred to the customer service team. My call disconnected (nothing new) and I called back to customer service and spoke to Thembi who I explained that I have made R835 payment on the 28th of September much earlier than required (payment is due on 1st of each month) and to my dismay I receive an arrears sms and she casually explained the error made instore and that she needed to reallocate properly, I asked her nicely to call me back once done to inform me and tell me what is going to happen thereafter but of course she did not call. I called again the following week and spoke with Siya (it was not a pleasant call at all) who I tried to explain what happened from the start but nope she was more concerned in explaining to me what needed to be done with allocation of payments(which I knew already) than listening to my question of how is this going to be fixed so that it does not reflect a default on my credit record and also the interest charged on the "overdue" payment, sms fee and collection letter fee. I again explained to her that she needs to listen to my questions so that she understands what needs to be done and that she needs to call me back with the correct answers but guess what? Until today I am yet to receive a call from her after being promised on in 24hrs for the second time. Now I have just got my monthly report and it reflects a missed payment by Exact and also because of that I am down a whopping 25 points on my credit score. I have not missed a payment in the past 22 months which might mean nothing to their business but it means everything to me considering how hard it is to build and maintain a perfect credit score. I have been in the customer service business since I was 17 years old and surprisingly enough I worked for the group before and I have never ever served my customers/clients like this and they definitely do not understand what PRIDE2 means or even live it. I am appalled to say the least and need this fixed ASAP. Customers need to be writing better reviews than these but with this kind of Luke warm service and considering where the South African economy is due to Covid, TFG is doing a very poor job in keeping the customers that matter like myself. I am waiting on some form of communication from anyone who cares in those offices.
