Account paid up and closed but book sold to 2nd collection agent !!!!!!!!
My account was handed over to Easton Berry and was fully paid in 2018. The very same account has now been handed over to DMC for a balance of R7565 and they have listed me on ITC and I have been telling them over and over that the account was settled in 2018 and they are demanding a paid up letter which I never got from Easton Berry. According to Easton Berry the account was closed in 2018 and TFG should have updated their books and they do not understand why the book was sold to another collecting agency??? I want a paid up letter and my credit profile to be updated by TFG and DMC or else I will lay a complaint to the ombudsman as this is having a negative impact on my credit profile.

Thank you ,I have received a paid up letter from Easton berry and an sms from DMC stating that the account is closed. Can you now ensure that they update my credit profile as the outstanding amounts are still reflecting as R139 for Foschini and R7565 for DMC .
