Abused Pensioner Customer

As a pensioner, I opened an account at Totalsports Store in Dobsonville mall. When I opened the account, I informed the salesperson of my pension dates and was assured that my due date would align with them. However, I was never properly informed that payment needs to be made on the 1st of each month. Despite my attempts to request a change in payment date, my pleas were ignored and now my account is always in arrears. This situation feels like a ****, as the sales team rushed to make sales without properly informing me of the terms and conditions. As a customer, I feel misled and left with no options for recourse if an issue arises. This goes against the Consumer Protection Act and it may be necessary for a third party to intervene to resolve this matter.
