“A Change to Your Order” ya masepa (*-_-)

After wanting to purchase a sneaker at Sportscene, I decided to monitor its price until ‘Black Friday’ to see if it would drop any further. Yes, this was a gamble because my size may have been sold out by then, but it was worth the wait, to me. As expected, it dropped by ±R300. Excited that my gamble ‘paid off’, I placed an order and was told to expect delivery/collection this week. To my surprise, I woke up to an eMail - today - which stated that my sneaker order had changed “due to insufficient or damaged stock”. Out of curiosity, I navigated to the “Sportscene” site and to my surprise the very same sneaker was (and is) still on sale - and available in the size I initially ordered. However, it’s back to its “pre-Black Friday” price tag. Upon making contact with TFG on Twitter, I was told

“We confirm that online and store stock are completely different and therefore the pricing would differ.”

This should not be my problem, it’s internal, because as far as I’m concerned they’re one company and I want what I ordered at the price I ordered it! I’m really disappointed and annoyed.

Unless TFG can convince me otherwise, I’m done giving them my money. After I pay off the account I currently have, I’m closing it. I shouldn’t have to deal with this, it’s pure drivel.
