From contract to prepaid

I am waiting 3 days for my cellphone number to be changed over from contract to prepaid after being told initially it would take 24 to 48hrs suddenly the service provider is having technical issues. To top it all i was never informed that it would take 5 to 7 working days to change from contract to prepaid. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR EXISTING CONTRACT IF YOU RUN A BUSINESS FROM YOUR CELL NO. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A CONTRACT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT ON THE MTN NETWORK WITH ONE2ONE AS THEY PORT NUMBERS WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT EVEN THOU ITS A MISSION WHEN YOU NEED TO RICA THEY STILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO PORT YOUR NUMBER WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.
