Disappointing Service

Good day,

I had taken an MTN data contract with one2one on the 17 August 2020. I was told it would take upto 72 hours to activate. A month later and the sim was still not activated. I contacted one2one only to be told that it stated there was an error with the sim card and nothing further. I would think that such a huge reputable national retail chain store like Foschini would place emphasis on customer service. Clearly this is not so. So I told the consultant to have a new sim card delivered to me. The sim card was delivered around 22 September 2020. I then received an sms stating that the contract has been processed. It is now the 19 October 2020 and this data contract has not been activated. I sent several emails to them with absolutely no response. After sending a long drawn email I got a reply asking for all my account details. I then received several emails stating that they are unable to verify the information etc. In the interim I also made several calls to the call centre and it was always that there is a back log. I then told the one consultant that I don't want to hear that response. Considering that I requested the contract initially in August, I should be given priority. A few days later I did receive a call from a supervisor telling me that, that specific batch of contracts was a problem and the engineers are working on it. I will receive a call with an update. I have yet to receive a call from somebody at One2One. I still cannot believe the deplorable service from them. It is very disappointing indeed. Obviously, the data contract was needed by me at the time of requesting it. I am still in the dark regarding this situation. Hopefully there is a competent individual that works at this company to resolve this issue immediately.
