Cellphone number disconnected, cancelling contract
I had an airtime contract with one2one that was billed on my Markham account. I have since taken a cellphone contract directly with MTN and called in to cancel my O2O airtime contract on the 23rd Feb since I no longer needed the airtime. I was told that another payment will go off as they need a month notice, which I agreed to. Also, I was told that my phone will stop working on the 24th March and I have to call in, which they'll reconnect my number to the prepaid network. Indeed, my number stopped working on the 24th and I called in on the 29th March to have my number reconnected. I was told that they are going send the request to the service provide and will contact me in due course to notify me that my number has been reconnected. I haven't had anything since. I haven't had a phone since. When they changed my number from prepaid to their contract it happened overnight. Now I am without a phone for over a week. O2O contracts are a disaster. They service is pathetic.
