Worst Customer Service Along with Workmanship.

The clips on my new vacuum did not work. They were stretched out.

So I returned it to Makro, Montegue Gardens, where they sent it away for 2 weeks. Today I go collect it and all they did was cheaply glue white plastic tubes on the inside of both clips. Not even nearly. Glue running down the side now. The clips don't even sit straight. It holds... But sits skew.

I could have just did this McGuyver move myself instead of waiting two weeks.

Of course... I snapped.

The returns lady calls the guy from Bennet & Reed and tells him that I am unhappy about the way they sorted the issue out. He tells her that I need to send the vacuum to Jozi... As it will take a while to get clips for it.

So I said.... Not a ****.... I want a new unit NOW.

So she relays my message to him and he says fine. He will have new clips in Cape Town by Monday...

I mean... ***!!!

Scared of losing a sale so the story changes.

I am Def not happy with them. I was so ****ed off I just signed it back in and left the store.

If I am not happy with the 'new clips' I am asking for a Refund.

I know it is not the ladies fault in the returns section. But I am sure there must be some kind of standard or checking the 'fixed items' when it is returned to them....

Venting done!!!

(They promised me the clips would be in CPT by Monday, it's now Thursday and I am still waiting)
