Tough 15 - Benett Read does not keep their word

In February I needed a new vacuum cleaner. I was about to go for the Hoover a brand I had used before when I was approached by the Bennett Read salesman. He went through all of the good points of the Tough 15. I was reluctant as it cost R500 more than the Hoover but was swayed when he said that if anything went wrong they wouldn't mess me around but would swop it out immediately. A week ago the motor started giving a problem.I took it back to Game, expecting Bennett Read to be true to their word - that is where I was wrong. This was on a Saturday. I had to leave the vacuum at the store where it would be collected on Tuesday - three days later and taken to Clearwater for repair.I still have not heard. I bought a more expensive product because of the key point that if anything went wrong they would swop it out. I broached the subject to the salesperson and he said he didn't sell it to me and that he hadn't made the declaration. Unfortunately for him, his face stuck in my mind because of the fact that he had "sold" the good points of the machine and persuaded me to abandon my usual brand. Not happy at all. The instruction manual claims that ""should you ever have a problem, you'll receive fast,considerate assistance". Ha Ha
