Tevo Steam Generator 1

I bought a Steam Generator iron from Game Richards Bay in January this year, iron was working fine until I attached the brush that came with the iron so that I could iron my lounge curtains. When I tried to remove brush from iron a small chunk of the sole plate snapped and broke. I then took it to Game who sent it to tevo. A few days ago I got a call from TEVO saying I need to payR 295 to repair the iron as it WA broken due to negligence. My point is how can it be negligence when the product is of inferior quality to break off like that. They don't want to hear my point and say I dropped the iron. Why must I pay if I didn't drop it. Please don't buy their products, cheap inferior quality **** which I paid R699 for after being forced to buy from their rep in store I was on my way to purchase a Verimark iron which I had for 10 year's sole plate is still fine not like their inferior pro****
