Tevo need to replace machine after 2 weeks of use.

I bought a vacuum cleaner from them & was convinced by the sales staff at the shop that this machine was good value for money. The sales assistant even showed us how to put the machine together. It was a wet & dry vacuum cleaner. After 2 weeks the vacuum cleaner stopped working, we returned the vacuum cleaner back & we were told that we damaged it. Now Tevo want us to pay for the repairs as the filter was not put in the machine. Yet the sales assistant told us that the filter that was there was only for wet vacuuming & he set it up for us. This is absolutely pathetic & the service is next to non existing as the machine sat for almost 2 weeks before it was collected to inspect the damages & give us a report. The damage done has caused the motor to blow & they want us to pay more for repairs than the actual machine cost. I will never buy from them ever again.
