Simple spare part not available - requires motor replaced

I bought a 'The One' vacuum cleaner in 2018. It worked well, but the motor stopped working in November 2022. The only thing amiss is that the brushes (component, not attachment) are worn out. I directed an email enquiry via the Bennet Read site. I then went to the Tevo site & noticed that it is identical to the 'Contact' page of Bennet Read. I then phoned the Tevo Warehouse in Wonderboom & was told that they do not supply brushes seperately, that I would have to buy a new motor @R1213. I have enquired from several tool-, repair- & appliance shops & spare part suppliers, but no-one has brushes that fit. Even tried tooling similar brushes but it keeps sparking. This is inbuilt obsolescence at work and part of a wasteful culture that holds the consumer ransom.
