Shox Enduro drone unresponsive

My son received a Shox Enduro for his 7th birthday on Saturday (31 August 2019). Today was the first day we flew it in an open field in Sonneveld, Brakpan. To our shock, the drone after a while stopped responding to the controller and kept flying away from us until it was out of range and sight. My son is obviously very disappointed and sad. It's obvious that the drone was faulty. Can i be reimbursed or be given a working drone? The drone would have went down somewhere near Sonneveld.
