Repairs that break

I purchased a vacuum cleaner in August last year. About a month later it had lost suction power and I took it back in store (Game Clearwater) to be assessed. They sent it to Bennett Read and they repaired the same machine. After getting it back it worked until two weeks ago when it lost suction power again. Once again I took it back to Clearwater and had them explain that this is the second incident with the same problem. They did not replace the machine but chose to repair it again. I went to pick up the machine yesterday and to my utter dismay the machine is damaged. This particular vacuum cleaner has a clip that causes it to stand upright on its own, that clip is now broken. It is extremely disheartening to have purchased a brand new machine that keeps having to be taken in for repairs and now they have broken the machine! I do not know what to do now but I don’t think it is fair that I sit with a machine that I did not break.
