Poor Quality and workmanship / Bennett Read 10L Digital Air Fryer

I purchased this air fryer about a year ago from Makro Pietermaritzburg and have been meaning to leave a review for some time. Unfortunately, the quality has been extremely disappointing.

The air fryer dries out food rather than cooking it properly, even when used exactly according to the instructions and recommended settings. The results are consistently uneven and unsatisfactory. The so-called “non-stick” interior is also very poor — food sticks badly, and despite careful cleaning and proper use, some residue and marks cannot be removed, even after soaking.

When I first purchased the unit, it had to be returned immediately as it appeared to be a display model or one that has been used before and damaged, with several faults. Sadly, this turned out to be an indication of the overall poor quality of the product.

I also purchased a pressure cooker from the same brand and expected similar reliability, but this air fryer fell far short. Overall, I am very unhappy and would certainly NOT recommend this product.
