Falsified information and poor after sales service

I have purchased 2 Zingo s******s from Game Pavillion on 09/12/2016. I was advised by the sales consultant as to which type of s******s I should purchase as both my children are different ages and therefore I should purchase according to appropriateness. I was advised by the consultant that should we not be happy within 14 days with the product for any reason whatsoever then we will gladly be refunded no matter the condition.

I returned to the store on the 18/12/2016 to have the products returned as the X100 was not charging. A consultant came to assist me and upon looking at the product had said that there is nothing he can do as we had used the product and it is not in a re sellable condition. I had explained to him that the product is not charging and therefore our reasoning for the return. He then called his manager Devan (The rudest person I have ever dealt with) who states that according to the CPA, a product can only be returned within 14 days if it is in a resellable condition. My question here is, Are tevo doing exchanges and re selling same damaged products over and over? The reason for this question is because Devan had said that he needs to put it back on the shelf to re sell it.

I had then mentioned to him that when we bought the product, the sales consultant had promised us that we could have the product returned if we were not happy and in no way said that the product has to be un used. Had she told this to us then we would not have purchased the Zingos. I asked Devan to take me to the sales consultant to verify what had been said and his response was that he had 10 consultants in the store. I had requested that he send the consultants for a lie detector test at my cost and he flatly refused.

He only looked at the Zingos and did not even switch it on or charge it to test. Eventually he had asked the other consultant to pack it in the box again, of which he had done so abrubtly.

I called the head office and spoke to Michael on the 19/12/2016 who had informed me that I would get a refund and that I should take the products back to the store and call him when I was there.

I went to the store again on to be laughed at in our faces ****erally laughed at)

Devan came and said that there is no way that he was going to refund me and called Steven the area manager. He said Steven that it was not science to see that the product had been abused and therefore would not refund me.

I called Michael to inform him of this and he said that I should book it in for evaluation and I did not tell him the product had been used. I asked Michael for a copy of all the recordings of which I have not yet recieved. This was to prove that I had mentioned that both my sons are not professional riders and did fall when using the product (in fact a few times) and that the product is made of plastic and will therefore have signs of wear.

My issue is that the product does not charge.

In terms of the CPA, please read.

The right to fair and responsible marketing

The right to fair and honest dealing

Right to accountability by suppliers

Right to fair value, good quality and safety.

All I require is a personal apology from Devan who had treated us with the utmost disrespect in the presence of other customers including laughing at us while we walked away. And then I need the product exchanged for a full refund at the same store in the presence of Devan.

I then request a copy of all recordings of calls that I made to Michael who had promised to have the issue resolve and to call me once it has been resolved. This had not been done
