Disgusted by TEVO

I bought a Bennett Read Copper and Rock pan from Makro Silverlakes. In July 2020, the handle just came off and I realised that it cannot simply be *****ed back in as it looked like it was stripped (my husband had a look at it and came to this conclusion). I then saw that it was still under warranty and that I can take it back to the store for them to send it back to be fixed. After a few weeks, I was contact and told to pay R149 for it to be replaced with a "second hand" one as my one could not be fixed. Please note, I have to pay half of what the pan was worth to have something fixed that I did not even brake. Long story short, the consultant I was corresponding with calls me every few weeks to say that they cannot find a replacement pan like mine and will give me a refund of the money I had to pay in R149 and my old pan back. Which means that they will not be adhearing to their own policy of replacing the broken item first of all and second of all, they wanted to replace it with a second hand one. I told the lady that she must keep looking for another one and keep me informed. Needless to say, it is now December 2020 and I have not heard anything from them, no replacement or refund of any sorts. This is really disgusting and unprofessional and would love to hear what they will be saying next!
