****** weak equipment

I recently bought a bennett read 15 from game store mall of the south on Saturday. I was told by the sales person that it can clean carpets. He said I must wet the carpet and the vacuum will suck the water and dirt. I did just that. A day after I wanted to use the vacuum but the is air blowing on the side of the motor. I don't know what's the problem as the filter is now dry.

I have to say, bennett read 15 is by far a disappointment of a product.
