Bennett reed steam iron

Bennett Reed steam iron, nice sales pitch, actually a very nice iron until it stops working that is. Then the 2 year guarantee is useless, what more do you need, it doesn't heat up. Now it must be sent in for a assessment - seriously anyone can plug it in and see it doesn't heat up. Can't get a new one, because it has to be sent away, for God knows how long. In the meantime, I can't iron my clothes. I didnt buy an iron because its a cool thing to own, i bought an iron to iron my clothes. Don't sell *******, if you arent prepared to replace it!!!
