BENNETT READ - *THE WORST!!!!!* Household Brand

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me??? NO ITS STILL A SHAME ON A BENNET READ.... I don't know what to call third or fourth time... A disgrace and utter undermining of the consumer

The only thing Bennet Read has going for them that's worth millions is their brand managers in every other outlet and home appliance store that quite literally can sell you ice in winter

First buy in 2018 - their toolbox looking vacuum cleaner that just ceased to work within 3 months. They replaced it - great. Oh but wait this leads to

Second item (the replacement) - the motor burnt out within 6 months - Shocker

Third Item - Glass case kettle that just stopped working within 10 months. They repaired it - but wait there's more. Within a year it stopped working again - I now have a Cambrook that cost 3/4 of the price and has been going for 4 years

Last but not least, 11 months ago the air fryer frenzy hit my home and everyone insisted mom must get one.... Off we go and guess what - there's Bennet Read with prices inline with Milex and Russell Hobbs - they must have done something right over the last 5 years to be equivalent to leaders in the market. Joke of the century - it has been giving problems where it counts on its own and adjusts temperatures on its own for 2 or 3 days now.

The worst thing - before my air fryer decided to pack up, we bought a new vacuum cleaner in the new year of 2025 - which might I had was R 200 more expensive than the equivalent that Genesis has!!!! The price of their products gave me the,now disappointing, confidence that their brand and workmanship is worth the value.

What a mistake!!!! This is by far the WORST household brand I have ever welcomed into my home, paying for my bad judgement not only once or twice but 6 times !!!!! I will never in my life buy any of their products again or even suggest it to my worst enemy
