I got sick of my iron burning clothes and also the ceramic plate, so i decided to stop buying cheap. I got approached by a lady representing Tevo, she gave me the sales pitch and i decided to give it a try.

Upon first using the product (same day as purchased) the lovely white ceramic plate the lady insured me will never ever burn on and that would save me from ever buying another iron suddenly started taking on the colour of my blue chino pants.

After just one use...??? And needless to say that colour now sitting on the ceramic left my pants looking a bit dull. And yes settings was correct and i definitely know how to iron even though i am a man.
