Bennett Read 11.5l Air Fryer - safety hazard
Bennett Read Air Fryer - handle breaks off even after returned and 'repaired' by TEVO. Bought at Builders and while shaking chips the handle broke free dues to plastic threads and metal *****s ( heat conduction melted the thread) . Sent back and after repair the same thing happened again- each time hot chips and some oil falling on ones feet- Dont buy one they are dangerous

As the product has already undergone a repair and the same issue has reportedly occurred again, we would like to have the unit reassessed together with the previous repair findings so that the cause of the failure can be properly established.
Please confirm which Builders it was purchased from and provide us with the previous job/repair number so we can escalate to the correct branch for review and further assistance. Tx

07 Sept 2026, 17:06I purchased it from Builders Express Vredenburg - The repair noted "cable fault repaired" and I told them it was not a cable the handle broke of - pulled out og plastci threaded *****s. I dumped the box , fryer , bills etc the next day as it constitued a hazard and waste of my time

If this is the case, we sincerely apologize that this was the outcome. Unfortunately, without the product being available for assessment and the relevant proof of purchase/documentation, we would not be able to investigate the matter further or assist with a warranty resolution.
