When my husband worked in Saudi Arabia, our daughter Maryam returned to South Africa for high school. She began Grade 10 at an expensive private school, but when my husband was retrenched, we had to find a more affordable option. After searching both online and offline, by the grace of God, I was referred to Teneo. I instantly loved what Teneo offered, though Maryam was heartbroken to leave her old school. Two months later, she started embracing this new way of learning and was impressed by the quality of education. Having spent her whole life in international schools, that meant a lot. A few months on, she was on the Leader Board, earning A’s and B’s, and even achieved 100% in Visual Arts. As an extrovert, she never thought she could thrive studying alone, yet she did.
