I enrolled my twin daughters, Samantha and Chante, in Teneo back in 2023. My girls had been struggling with social anxiety in a public school, and commuting was an issue, among other things, so we researched and found that Teneo was a suitable option.

Teachers like Mrs De Villiers and Mrs Green were accommodating, helpful, and kept communication open, reassuring us as parents of Samantha's progress, any roadblocks, and areas of development to focus on.

Samantha noted that the point system has motivated her, which helps her track her daily tasks, including homework and assignments. Reaching streaks similar to those found in apps like Duolingo or TikTok made it relatable and fun, and also rewarded good learning habits. The prerecorded lessons were as valuable, helping her recap and also prepare for exams.

We observed a notable shift in Samantha's mindset, accompanied by an increased openness to learning. Where she had previously lacked confidence, she is now grasping concepts and learning material better, and approaches her work with diligence and a positive attitude. She is also more confident in asking questions, relies less on us as parents, takes the initiative, and is more self-sufficient than she was before.

We are hopeful and confident she'll continue this upward trajectory and achieve even better aggregates over the next two years. Teneo has helped shape her education in ways we never thought were possible, and we're thrilled we've chosen this prestigious institution to complete her tertiary education.

Our daughter's journey and story are relatable to other learners who aren't A-students but persevere despite their circumstances. She is the epitome of how hard work and self-application pay off.
