Teneo Online School Review – A Parent’s Experience with Grade 1 Live Classes and Grade 10 Recorded Lessons

As a parent with two children enrolled at Teneo Online School, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing both sides of their learning models ,the live online classes for my Grade 1 child and the recorded lessons for my Grade 10 child. And I can honestly say, both have been absolutely outstanding in their own unique ways.

My Grade 1 child takes part in the live online classes, and I’ve been so impressed by how interactive and engaging they are. The teachers have a wonderful way of keeping young learners focused and excited about learning. Every lesson feels personal and full of encouragement. My child has grown so much in confidence ,they read better, participate eagerly, and actually look forward to class every morning. The teachers make learning fun and creative while still building strong foundations in reading, writing, and maths.

Then there’s my Grade 10 child, who follows the recorded lesson format and it’s been equally successful, just in a different way. The flexibility allows my teen to work at their own pace, revisit lessons when needed, and take real ownership of their studies. The content is thorough and easy to follow, and the recorded lessons are presented in a clear, structured way that makes complex topics easier to understand. It’s helped them become much more independent, organized, and confident in managing their time — essential skills for senior grades.

What I appreciate most about Teneo is that both systems — live and recorded — are thoughtfully designed for the learner’s stage of development. The Grade 1 live classes provide structure, routine, and teacher interaction, while the Grade 10 recorded lessons promote self-discipline and responsibility. Both still offer plenty of support when needed, and I always feel connected as a parent through the platform’s updates and communication tools.

Teneo truly understands that every child learns differently, and they’ve created an environment where both of my children — despite being in such different grades — can succeed in their own ways. I couldn’t be happier with the balance, the quality of teaching, and the results I’ve seen in both of them.
