Teneo helped give us our girl back Hi, I’m Idalette, and I want to share how Teneo changed everything for my granddaughter, Ané. Eighteen months ago, the court placed her in my care after serious abuse. Her confidence was broken, her marks collapsed, and in Grade 9 she failed and couldn’t even write one exam term. A friend suggested Teneo. From the first call, the team supported us and her Grade Head listened to our story. For the first time, we felt understood. Since then, everything has changed. She finished Grade 9, started Grade 10 around 51%, and has now improved to 65%. More important than the marks, her motivation, smile and personality have returned. Today Ané has been recognised as one of Teneo’s Most Improved Learners. Thank you, Teneo, for the structure, care and encouragement that helped her heal, learn and thrive.
