Highly recommended!

I see many negative reviews here and I wish to share my experience with Teneo. Firstly, I am so grateful that this school in the cloud exists! My nerves can now rest and my medically vulnerable children can learn in the safety of our home during this pandemic. Let it be known that I am a neurotic mother, and I am extremely pedantic over school issues. Having said that, Teneo does of course present technical and administrative challenges from time to time. This is the case with all schools, but Teneo is quick to acknowledge and resolve these issues once they are notified. They have several avenues of communication and they try very hard to accommodate everyone's needs. The curriculum is presented far better than any brick and mortar school we've been a part of. While not every single teacher is perfect, their classes are taught very well and the benefits of having access to cloud recordings of all previous lessons are enormous. They follow a strict daily time table and their assignments and marking thereof are of an extremely high standard. Please note that this is not the school for you or your child if either of you lack discipline and commitment to the work and calendar. Parents MUST be actively involved and interested in their child/children's educational needs and be sure to provide all the requirements of schooling over the internet to succeed. I have 3 children in different grades and would recommend Teneo to anyone who is serious about education in South Africa. Well done to Teneo's teachers and admin.
