Telegenix owner dead but data base still being used

Just received a call from Mondo Trading when pressed as to were they got my information they said Telegenix and supp**** a telephone number. Phoned the number per the gentleman who answered the call it was his fathers company and his father passed away 8 years ago and the company has closed down. Something is not right especially with the POPIA act.
