Telefunken Firmware Upgrades

I was a loyal Telefunken brand name customer until....<br> <br> I bought a Telefunken TLCD-40FHDB about 3 years ago. Software has since moved on and MP4 and other video formats have been released. When enquiring about any firmware updates for Telefunken I was told that MP4 is still on trial and that they have no planned firmware updates planned as this particular model was discontinued.<br> <br> How is it possible that they did not consider that the customers who have bought their TVs would require either firmware/software updates considering how fast technology changes?<br> <br> All I can now say is that NEVER buy Telefunken again!!!!!
