scarcity of repairing

I bought my Telefunken Tablet at Game in December at Game in Greenacres Mall, 2 weeks after that the screen cracked and I had a guarantee of a year. When I went there to repair they said that the guarantee doesnt cover the screen. Then when I asked how much is to fix they said I might as well buy a new one. And I bought it fo R999...Like what the hell and the screen is not available in any local repairs...I'm really ****ed off because I literally saved my last penny just to reward myself with that tablet and now it is just an object that does not work.
