Not confident in the business
I am not confident in this business. When we brought in our VW Polo for insurance repair assessment, I noticed that they did not have the sign "VW approved" on their wall. When I asked them about it, I was told that they are approved by them, they just had not gotten round to putting the sign up. Our insurance company has now advised us that they are not VW approved repairers. This is annoying as we have lost time waiting 3 days for a quotation when we could have gotten it right the first time round. The quotation Tekton provided has left me puzzled. Although I am not a mechanic, they have quoted replacing parts such as both headlamps which are undamaged and in perfect working order and painting panels and doors which to my admittedly untrained eye seem in order. I would suggest checking their quotation. Their workshop looks professional.

Brilliant!
If i could give extra stars, i would. Tekton went above and beyond with my car. They managed to source un-sourceable parts and fixed un-fixable issues. They cleaned and polished my car to the point where it now looks better than when i bought it! To top it off, they are all really, really nice people. Great job, great shop, great team. I'll definitely be going back there for any future repairs. They even saw my side mirror was broken and looked around the shop for potential replacements. I haven't taken them up on this offer yet, but will do so.

Shame on Tekton
Tekton Autobody Repairs Wynberg does not even deserve a rating! If you want your vehicle to look like "the accident has never happened", then this is sadly not the place to take your car to. A friend of mine had his Toyota Fortuner repaired at Tekton Wynberg. After 3 attempts of them trying to get the vehicle to satisfactory level, the vehicle just wasn't the same again! From trying to install pirate headlights to headlight sprayers being dysfunctional, water bottle leaking, aircon not working properly, tyres has spray paint on it etc.
