Thank you Thinus-Non-RAID SAS hba. Great help.
Al least a supplier who understands server parts. I was getting frustrated trying to source a Non-RAID SAS hba for a Dell server system integration. Got shafted from place to place by some suppliers we called who said had the stock of it. I almost bought one only to realize that it was a raid card but a techie explained the difference and arranged for me personally collect. I was able to collect from their warehouse and pay on verifying it was the correct one. Lesson learnt: if not sure, ask, nag, and verify before buying. We are now able to connect out server to the TL2000 tape library. Thanks.

Every client's request that we get is unique and we always try to understand their requirements first before recommending replacements. We have to ensure that every client buys exactly what they need and that meets their requirements. We think it's therefore worth taking the time to verify this before they complete the ordering process. It should be upon us to always ensure version / platform compatibility too particularly when you already have systems in use as this makes your set up much more straightforward. And yes, there parts should be in stock and readily available for collection or courier to you.
